Why Bludge?

There’s no huge profound meaning behind the word BLUDGE. It’s a plosive word meaning an easy task, and ultimately that’s all it is.

We want to take the mystery out of wine, and make it easy and accessible for

everyone. We believe that there is a wine for every person, every occasion, and every meal (well… within reason) and that’s what we’re here for – to help you find your new favourite wine with as little faff as possible.

BLUDGE is run by a WSET certified cork dork who likes drinking and talking about wine ad nauseum. We’re a tiny queer-owned independent online wine shop in the heart of Scotland who have the pleasure (and total luxury) of being able to source whatever wines we think are absolutely banging. When you support a small indie business like BLUDGE you really are supporting originality and individuality, but more importantly you are supporting people, not corporations.
