Shipping policy

After you have placed your order, we will send you an order confirmation.

Our main delivery day is Wednesday, but we do our best to try and deliver within 3-5 working days of receipt of your order. For deliveries to more remote areas, delivery can take a couple of extra days. 

Our delivery charge is per mainland GB delivery address. For orders under £150 our delivery charge is £8.99. These charges are for delivery to anywhere in mainland GB, so it is worth ordering a decent quantity. Our packaging has to be courier safe as we are dealing with glass, so it is a little bit more expensive than single walled boxes which might not get your wine to you in one piece!

Unfortunately we currently do not ship out with mainland GB. If you wish to send a package to these areas please contact us on hello@bludge.co.uk

FREE DELIVERY OPTIONS: Mainland delivery is free of charge if you spend £150 or more. For customers in postcodes EH1- EH7 & EH15, delivery is free of charge if you spend just £60 or more. Otherwise, standard delivery charges (£8.99) apply. Please bear in mind that we are a tiny little team, and we’re trying our best to get wine out to you as quickly and safely as possible.

We normally deliver Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm, but during busy periods, deliveries may be made outside of these times. We can deliver to places of work if you request it at the time of order.

If you are not in when the courier attempts to deliver, then a card will be left informing you that an attempted delivery has been made. If you do not contact the courier company, a second attempt will be made. Alternatively, you may authorise the courier to leave the order in a certain place. There is a text box in the shopping checkout where delivery instructions can be left should no one be home to meet the courier. Let us know if you want the courier to leave your order in a certain spot (e.g. at back door or in a shed etc). IMPORTANT NOTE: if a request is made for wine to be left unattended we cannot be held responsible if the wine goes missing after the courier has delivered it. If there is no contact after the second missed delivery, the wine will be returned to us and we will credit your account, less the delivery charge.

In the unlikely event that there are any breakages, the carrier will need to collect the damaged case including the damaged contents. If you have any queries regarding delivery please contact
