Chateau de Belleverne Beaujolais Nouveau 2023

Spring came quite late in 2023, as did flowering but volumes are looking good compared to the past few years. Harvest dates are predicted to be a bit more “normal” this year with picking likely to begin the first week of September. After contending with some summer storms and cooler weather, the sun is here, which will help with the final ripening.

Drink this soon and slightly chilled! Expect the bright, fresh, red-fruit flavours of strawberry, raspberry and cherry, plus notes of banana, grape and pear drop which bring to mind the childhood flavours of bubble-gum.

Beaujolais Nouveau was released on Thursday 16th November 2023.
